Not sure if I would like the look of black. I removed my rear bumper which was a much lighter gray than the front bumper and cladding. I painted it with Fusion Satin Black. Much better than the bleached out gray. I am now going to pull the front bumper and cladding and paint them black. I will post pics as soon as I get my post count up.

Cladding tired gray. So far just rear bumber removed, painted black and re-installed.

Go with the black on that Green ZJ! It will look a lot better in the long run. Here's another shot of mine from this week, I am so glad I painted it black!

Re-installed the last piece of black cladding. I took some pics, not the greatest with shadows but you get the idea. Next the roof rack, door handles and the grill. Not sure if I will go with black or faux chrome paint on the grill.

I'll play. Krylon fusion in satin black. All I did was remove the cladding, scrub it down with soap and water, let it dry, and started painting.

Before: (2007)

Finished: (Fall 2007)

A year ago: (Spring 2011)

Black looks best and I was hesitant on the grill but when all said and done looks alot better. Just have to do it every year by the doors and bumpers it chips from hitting/kicking snow off here in the northeast
