Bedliner dries just as fast as paint, if not faster. You just need to be careful. It goes on really thick. So you need to spray it faster and lighter than you would regular paint or it may run.

As soon as i get things squared away with my bike I have been toying with the ideer of removing the cladding, grinding off the mounting tabs, and painting the cladding area and rockers with Herculiner roll on. Will definitely post pics when its time to do so. I dont really care for the look of painted cladding, and if you have ever been in situations where i have, you learn that rocks/dirt mounds/logs that are on trails will make short work of the clips that hold them on.

There is a special primer for spray on bedliner, I've heard ot helps it not to chip off later. I think its called "adhesion promoter" or something like that. Autozone carries it.

After talking to several people, I just sanded it with one of those foam block sanders and cleaned it off good with paint thinner.

i painted mine with the spray on textured stuff. loved the look but chunked off easier when hit stuff. my next plan was to do what freekinheep89 is planning, junk the plastic altogether and rhino line the rockers. can't wait to see it on someone else first.

Gonna paint mine today. I'm leaving everything on, just going to tape a bunch. A good wash and wipe down to get all the junk off. Any other suggestions?
