output speed sensor?

posting this for grdchrke555 since hes at work. today he got the code p0720 which is 'low output spd sensor rpm above 15 pm' and the description reads "output shaft speed is less than 60 rpm with vehicle speed above 15 mph". what exactly is this referring to, and how to fix it?

A faulty output speed sensor. The input and output sensors are the same so can swap around to confirm fault.

If you did a speedo gear after his lift, did you align the module correctly?

we didnt do a speedo gear, he took the lift off too fast. where exactly is the sensor at?

how bout in a wj? id say the transfer cases didnt change that much.. atleast for the NP242 i have. is the wires that are plugged into the output sensor? i swear if i have to go one more time to that dealership to waste more money.... ughhh

i just did... basically i just need a new sensor... ahhh crap... gotta go to the dealer too.. well thats retarded. i hateee them there. everything is only 5052341 time as much as it should be and poor quality parts it seems.. i liftgate motor broke again after spending 90 bucks for somethign that cost them prolly 5 cents to make. they piss me off
