Opinions please!!!

On the way to work today my Jeep started to try and cut off while working. By the time I got there the oil gauge was fluctuating. Left tonight and was on the interstate it actually puttered then died. Pulled off let it sit an reset the,alarm an it Crunk up an got me half way home. Did the same steps again. However I played with the gas while it was dying and got me to a safe pull over spot. Finally got her home. No leaks or anything. Please help. I have to work tomorrow. Thank you.

Check engine oil level.

Code 12 and 53. Could the PCM cause this issue and the idle issues it has had since purchase?

Try a few simple checks before shotgunning the PCM.

With battery NEG cable disconnected....
  • Clean/tighten all battery cables on BOTH ends.
  • Clean/tighten all chassis grounds.
  • Clean PCM connector pins/sockets. (First part of this post explains where and how to access connector)
I use these dental brushes with electrical contact cleaner sparingly to clean the connector sockets.
