OME hd vs. BDS 2" lifts

I've searched top and bottom and got a comparison for ti's but not zj's. What is ya'lls experience with each? Bds is a couple hundred bucks cheaper and has the no sag warranty and ome is ome but which is better? How much lift do you end up with after settling and who's shocks are better?

My buddy has BDS 4.5" coils and loves them. When I have an extra 300 bucks laying around I'm going to get the OME 2.5" coils.

are different the coils between an ome 2.5 and an ome2 ?

i think that they are the same, the 2.5 is higher because of the spaceres...not sure.

The stock Isolators are only .25". I was talking to Kolak and he runs the OME 2.5" HD coils on his 5.9 and speaks very highly of them. When I get the cash I am going to get them from him.

Email him and he can tell you more kolak@aol.com

I talked to Kolak a while ago about the coils and some other shocks and that ended up getting close to the full price of the then 900 kit price. 4Wparts has the ome kit for 778 but they price match and I found it online for 667 with free shipping. I can also use my club id for a discount. Before I do that I want some more comparison info so keep your reviews comming.

So if your buddy loves his bds coils why go with the ome?

Because OME makes top of the line stuff and I would rather have 2.5" than 2". I already have the shocks, track bar, and discos. Just need new coils so I can ditch this 2" budget boost.

From what I read about the ti kits the bds does end up being about 2.5 but I am unsure about zj's. Ome springs do have a reputation for sagging

What OME "kit" did you find? I sell the OME springs with Bilstein shocks, not with OME shocks. The Bilsteins offer better handling on and offroad, much improved ride control and fade resistance, more rapid responsiveness and they are the proper length for the lift height you get from the OME springs.

No one is going to beat my pricing for OME and Bilstein. I am extremely aggressive with the pricing of these products because I want more people to be able to afford the best components. I'd rather make just a little money and sell more lifts.

I just spoke with one of my very first OME customers a few weeks ago - he has OME coils on his 1994 ZJ for nearly 15 years and they have not sagged even a fraction of an inch. There's no better spring on the market in terms of longevity and excellent ride and handling.

The OME get talked up as being 2.5", but I net 2.5" in front and only 2" in back. This is with the 4.0 I am not at all disappointed, just letting you know.

Also, I love my coils and Bilsteins that Nick sold me. I highly recommend both. As with Polka, I would recommend discos and an IRO front track bar to improve the ride. New TREs and CA bushings wouldnt hurt either, but then you are encroaching on a very expensive 2 inches.

No sag after 15 years? I do believe that just sold me on OME (I was already sold on the Bilsteins). Now to get some cash....
