Ok I started my lifts, got some questions??? **PICS**

Ok, I started my 3" IRO lift with DT8000 shock and Disconnects..... Remember I'm a newbie or was a newbi to lifts.
All I can say is WOW!!! What a project. But man I've learned a lot. 5 hours of work and we only have the front done. Better planning and less trips to the auto parts store could have sped up the process.

My Questions:
1. How extended do the discos need to be. Look at my pics are they screwed out to much? I tried linning them up with the bars that came with the lift and they are still shorter.
2. The intructions said the bar should be angled 30degrees. Looking at my picture does it look right?
3. Please tell me rear will be easier than the front???

I'm totally stoked and very tired. Can't wait to get it done and the tires on.

Sweet - lookin good man. I can't believe those sway bar extensions are so long. If you are lifting the body ~3" I would imagine the extensions to be like, 4" - not 8" or 10" or whatever those are. Can someone explain this?

Anyway, coolness.

I would eyeball the extensions to have the swaybar in the 15 degree area at most.

Make sure you don't have the extensions over extended.

Look at the problems you have had with the front. Think about how much easier it would be to encounter the same problems a second time. Each time you do it, it gets a ton easier. The back will be a snap compared to the front

They look fine. You can adjust them as needed after a test drive, I had mine too short and it resulted in about 0 body roll and a bit stiffer of a ride, made them longer and it softened up a bit. But that looks OK. The rears are suppose to be a bit longer.

Did you get a adjustable or fixed track bar ?

I had a worse time doing the rear, but you don't have to deal with the a-arm spacer

I would soak all of the shock bolts/swaybar bolts with PB blaster or wd40 and let it sit fo ra while before tackling it.

I'd rotate discos with zerk fittings to the front. Would be much easier to grease them. I'm surprised JKS wants 30' for WJs. (JKS 3100). for ZJ's it's only 10'

Looks good man

No one would watch a 4 hour tv show of trying to remove a single bolt

OK, ITS DONE!!!!!
I got the rear done today. It was 100 times easier than the front end. Probably because the experience learned from doing the front first. I'm so happy I can't even sit still. I'm going to get some new tires tomorrow or the next day and then I'll be set. I'm feel very accomplished right now!!!

Heres some pics!
