Ok I Have Good And Terrible Please Help!!
so the good is my iron rock off-road lift came today :-)
now the bad i think i need a front diff :-(
out of no where my jeep doesn't like sharp turns (just like if you stuck in 4wheel but i know it isn't) doesn't hop but its deff not good
i started with changing my diff fliud(using lmt slip add bc i have a dana) then i checked universals and wheel bearings they are all good
it seems like i have too much back lash in the front pinion but nothing looked torn up when i did the service yesterday
are there any adjustments shims or anything or am i in need of a diff rebuild??

it would def help if we knew what platform you had, but if its a quadradrive sounds like someone needs a new VC

You only need to add limited slip additive if you have an LS, not because its a Dana.

what kind of axle do you have in the front? if its all stock it makes me agree with the guy saying you don't have a locker in the front. if so what kind do you have?

Actually i was refering to this statement you made, which made no logical sense.
using lmt slip add bc i have a dana
You might have one in the back. Filling out your profile might help too.

The only way spiders would be bad is if they had chunks out of the gears. Very noticeable.

Such as these spiders I pulled out of my front diff...I had no symptoms though. It wasn't until I opened up the diff to do a gear install that I noticed something was amiss

Maybe I'm missing something, but limited slip and spider gears are mutually exclusive as far as I know. Either you have spider gears, which is an open diff, or you have a limited slip clutch pack in the carrier where the spider gears would go.

if this is a stock set-up you shouldn't have LS in either axle. LS was an option for the v8 models. i dont know of any 6bangers that have ls but i suppose it is possible. however jeep did NOT put ls in the FRONT axle, only in the rear as part of the factory towing package. all GC have dana axles front and rear most being the dana 30 in the front.

If your spiders don't look like that now, why do you think they will be?
