Oil Pump pick-up location

Hello everybody!

On my 98 5.9 I was wondering where the oil pump pickup screen is located in the pan. Is it right near the drain plug? or is it behind it towards the rear of the engine? off to one side?

Thanks guys, there is a dent in my pan and I'm wondering how it might hurt my oil pick-up.
