Oil pressure problem?

My jeep has been seeming to have a low oil pressure for a while now. Is this bad? How do I fix this? It seems to fluctuate as I am driving sometimes, and when I go up hills the jeep will start to smell like a burning kinda smell or a warm smell. I'm not low on oil I just changed it today brand new filter on. What could be causing this problem?

Oil pressure sending unit. Check the contacts and look for any leaks. Located right around the distro area.

Might be a bit of a ***** to get to without a OPSU socket. I have one and it makes it a ton easier. Its under the lip of the distro if IIRC which makes it hard to get to with pipe pliers or wrench.

Does the gauge flicker back and forth? If so its deff a problem. May not me the problem but it is a problem...

For sure! Check and see if its coming from the threads, if so you may be able to get by with cleaning the threads a placing it back in. Good luck

no I think it is coming from the oil pan itself I have a small dent in it from when I bought it and now I think it is starting to leak. Is there something to put on it to stop the leak or do I have to buy a whole new oil pan? which would be better? Would fixing this restore some of the power I feel I have lost?
