Still no transmission. The dealership said it may be about 2 weeks and they still are not sure if it will come in then. Does anyone know anything about Phoenix Transmission. They have one on Ebay reman. for 850.00 It is cheap but the warrenty is Crap. Anyone know of a good place for a 46Re Someone posted APS I think How do I get in touch with them? Thanks for any help.

His problem right now is the tranny, not the tc... and the 242 has more options than the 231.

Well finally found a trans. It is a used trans that a friend at a junk yard found for me. It only has 42K miles on it and it comes with a life time warrenty for 845.00. It should be in by Thursday so hopefully after this weekend I will have everything together. I am still putting the NP 242 in when I change trans. Any idea if I can sell the old trans for parts to someone. I dont owe a core charge now.

I think shops like the one I told you, will take your core.... You could exchange it for a 52mm Throttlebody!
