Noob Looking at a 97 zj lardeo.

Found a 97 Lardeo with 88k and a v8. Cloth, pretty much base. only nice thing it has is the dexlue message center. body is straight no rust, and the VC hasn't gone out yet. Guy is asking 3500 for it. figured it was worth more around 2500. thoughts?? Also can you do a 242 tcase swap with a v8. I have read some threads but am alittle confused about having to change input shafts.

If it's as nice as you say, or as its made out to be, Id have no problem paying 2500 for it. 3k would probably be my very top though.

You can put a 242 behind a V8 as well. Since it's a 97, you wont have to swap inputs depending on what you get the 242 from, if you go that route. Would be in most cases a straight bolt in.
