Noise when I turn

I am hearing a noise coming from my driver's side front wheel when I turn right. It almost sounds like a metal rubbing on metal sound, not a banging or clunking. The faster I go the faster the noise is, when I go straight or turn left there is no sound. Any ideas?

It's a '98 Grand Cherokee Limited.

Check the rubber CV boot. If it's torn replace the axle shaft.

Could be a hub too, only whining when there is pressure on it. Jack up that side, grab the wheel top and bottom and give it hell. Any play and your hub is shot.

Yep mines doing the same right now. New brake pads and calipers. I'm gonna get a tube of grease and go crazy on the front end and some white lithium and keep going. Mine only does it on near full lock turns and sounds like I'm doing doughnuts lol.

Mine does whenever I am in a hard right turn. It almost sounds like it might be the shocks.

maybe its another one of those undiagnosable noises. cause I went through a few deep mud holes yesterday, and it hasn't done it since.....

It might just be a temperamental issue because it never happened before and I hadn't drove it for a week before it started.
