Noise in frontend on left side

I think I saw a posting about this but I cannot find it now. I'm getting a clunk when I turn left. It happens just about every time and I can actually feel the vibration through the floor boards. I thought it was something about the control rod, but I'm not sure. Does any have any idea what I'm talking about?

Check your track bar mount where it mounts to the frame, on the left side. Its just aft of the steering gear box. Check for wear in the joint or a loose attachment.
I have seen this before on a number of customers Jeeps cause simular noise or problem.

I posted one a couple months ago. It turned out to the be left sway bar link was disconnected and rubbing up against the spring every time I turned.

When you are checking the track bar, it is best to have someone turn the wheel back and forth while you are looking at it.

Check the steering box bolts. They can and have loosened over time. They are right there in front of the sway bar links.
