Noise from front right wheel
Just want to start off by saying you guys have been really helpful
My front right wheel makes a eek eek eek noise when running, sometimes it gets louder when turning but more so when putting on the breaks. Any ideas on what it could be? Do I have a mouse stuck in there or what? Thanks!

When is the last time you changed your pads? Could it be a tracker squeak from the pads that they need to be replaced? Dirt or gunk on the pads? Some kind of film on the rotors? Stuck caliper?

The breaks looked fine.
One person said it was a wheel bearing, another said it was the universal joint. |

I second the pads, either they need replacing or you need to clean out the brakes, they will squeek when they get dirty to, to much brake dust build up or something like that.

Not the breaks, must be some sort of joint or bearing. Don't know how to tell though.

What year Grand do you have? That helps tremendously.
I'm assuming a '97, so there is a 99.99% chance that you do not have u-joints on your front axle shafts or pinion. You have CV joints, they tend to click and grind, not squeek. Probably the wheel bearings. Jack that tire off the ground and see if there is any play when you try to shake or move the tire. (grab it at 9 o'clock and 3 o'clock) HTH
