no start issue

Yesterday it ran fine, today it just didn't start.

Its windy , snowing , and dark so I didn't spend a lot of time troubleshooting.

98 limited 5.2 auto

Check all fuses, good.
Checked for fuel at Schrader valve, squirted out when I pressed it (key off)
Checked for spark by pulling a plug, had good spark ( plug looked wet though)

Seemed to be sparking at the right time ( engine would speed up when it sparked from removed plug)

I put it back together and gave the intake tube a very brief shot of starting fluid, made absolutely no difference.

At that point I couldn't feel my hands and decided to deal with it sat afternoon.

Any suggestions? I'm kinda at a loss for were to start.

Ignition, check plugs(could be fouled) and make sure your getting enough spark. If you physically gave it fuel and it wouldn't start I wouldn't worry about a fuel issue

How many miles? Last time coil plugs cap.... Been changed?

Check the fuse. I forget which fuse it is, but it's in the power block in the engine bay.

Does it have the factory alarm? If so, is the red light still flashing on the top of the dash while you're trying to start it up? If not it still could possibly be a security issue.

So I pulled another spark plug on the other bank, has good spark also. Seems to be in correct time with sound of compression stroke.

Every once in a while when you first key up ignition, is makes a brief (very brief) sound like it is gonna start.

I got a battery for key fob, tryed unlocking n locking, also locked and unlocked with the key.

Is the distributer turned by the cam or crank? Is it possible that it jumped cam timing and now valves are opening at the wrong time or its sparking at the wrong time?

Last week it wouldn't idle for a bit, but when I held it at 1000 Rpms for a bit, it would idle when it warmed up

New discovery, tested compression to see if valve timing is off. Passenger side bank filled the tube of the compression tester with gas.
I could understand one stuck injector, but 4? Anyone have a suggestion?
