No gages, tired of trying to fix it

About 6 months ago I had a ton of troubles with my zj and the only thing I haven't been able to get solved is my gages.

My radio had also stopped working so from what I've read I think its something to do with the power antenna wire. Problem is I can't figure out what I have to do to fix it haha right now there isn't a radio in it

Any suggestions would be great

On the gauges you may want to remove the plastic bezel around the instrument cluster, pull the whole cluster out, shoot some electrical contact cleaner on the plug/receptacle contacts, and re-install to see if it works. If it doesn't try checking for voltage at the dash plug/connector with the key on to see if it has power.

Not sure about the power antennae but on the standard one the wire connects either behind the bottom right passenger side kick-plate or behind the glove box where you may have to remove it to get to the connection. Have seen others where this antennae connection comes loose or goes bad. Good luck.

I've tried using a replacement cluster and tested the plug with a test light and it has power. The signal light indicators will light up on the cluster but nothing else

Test the cluster.
Hold the trip/reset button in, turn the key line you're doing the key trick for check engine codes.
That puts the cluster into self diagnostic mode.

It could be wiring, the bcm, or the pcm.

Do the back lights come on with the headlights?

'97 zj 5.2, some stuff, some other suff, and some things that even work sometimes.
