Newbie question

Okay this may be a dumb question. I am good with engines and mechanical things, but I am clueless when it comes to suspensions. I mean clueless.

What are buget boosts? and what do they contain/what modifications must be done to the truck for like a 2-2.5inch lift?

THanks for any help.

Budget Boosts (BB) are polyurethane spacers that go between the coil spring, and the coil spring mount (at the top though). They only make them up to 2" but you can have Anthony custom make you one. I wouldn't reccomend over 2" though. No modifications must be done to install them, but if you offroad, shocks are recommended. If you don't then stock shocks work.

You dont need new springs, and you dont need new shocks. OME=Old Man Emu. Extremely high quality, and high prices depending where you shop. Oh, the BB's are really easy to install IMO. How good are you with wrenching? They are not expensive at all, hince "Budget" in Budget Boost.

I am good at wrenching, only problem is i live in hilly terrain and there is no level ground around anywhere for me to work. The only reason i want a 2" BB is to give the WJ a taller stance and eventually slightly larger tires, nothing hardcore. will there be any issues with camber of the tires? or probs with steering since it will be at more of an angle?

You can get DW in a stock jeep.

are you sure that was DW? Anyways, yes you can get DW in a stock jeep. Just make sure you immediately get an alignment. That should be the first place you drive it too, and go slow in case, because if you get DW it can start leading to other problems with the suspension, and steering. It could cause it to get worse.
