New ZJ Build

Well after I sold my WJ back in April because I needed a commuter car, I had a chance to pick up a 93 ZJ. It is going to a be a project with myself and my brother. We paid $400.00 for it. We plan on installing the IRO 3.5" lift and some 31's. Maybe some rock sliders and a few other goodies. It's not going to be a trail rig, just something to have fun it. I still want it to be practical because I plan to use it when I can't drive my other car. It snows here. As it sits we need new CV axles and tires. Anyone have some cheap stockers they want to give up? I want to be able to drive it until the lift and tires are here and installed. Anyway I have a picture.....rattle can paint jot to come!

From this....

To this.....

Finally have made some progress on the jeep. Install the basic IRO 4.5" kit. It took my brother about 7 hours to install it. Here are some pictures.

It has a rough ride and the caster is way out of spec. I plan on getting new arms soon.

I made some progress on the ZJ over the last few weeks. I got some templates for a winch bumper. Myself and a buddy cut them out with a plasma cutter. We then make the mounting brackets and tacked it all together. We are on on the final welding and grinding. The XRC8 Winch arrived today via UPS.

I have slowly been making progress on the bumper. Here it is with the winch mount made and all the external welds ground down. Next on the list is final fill in welds and final grinding.

Also cut the rear fenders.
