well, I got it.
basically what we did was we traded my car for his jeep even up. I had a 2000 grand prix GTP with 225k, and rust. not a bad looking car, and ran great with heat and AC but just like any other used car has its problems and its biggest problem was rust. its a michigan car. basically I bought the car from a buddy getting out of the military and moving back home. he couldnt take the car. I gave him 1200, and but a few hundred in the car to get it daily driveable (in my opinion which is a higher standard than others).
anyway. we traded straight up. car for the jeep.
ill post some pics here, and start a new thread. NOW, to find the fuse block and the fuse that controls all the roof lights (entry lights)... that is step one. step two is to replace the broken headlights dimmer switch. its stuck on dim. those are the major issues. it start and runs flawlessly. I cant find a dent on it. its never been offroad. the suspension and everything is super tight. my wife and I went and did a little trail riding and it does not rattle at all. suspension and interior.
