The versions after 2000 (maybe 2001?) had a different water pump configuration that sometimes results in a power steering hose leak but otherwise, it's a great choice. 4.7 is a super engine when maintained correctly.
Be sure the fixes I've done were addressed (you'll run into them eventually otherwise) and seriously consider my minor upgrades depending on what you will use it for.
