new rear LCA's, now clunky clunk from rear

i put IRO lower adjustables on the rear yesterday, today i noticed it clunks when power is applied or i take my foot off the gas, the clunking coming from the rear end.
i'm thinking the pinion angle is just thrown off, i just made the control arms about an inch longer than stock and threw them on. with the stock arms the pinion angle was perfect, should i just make them stock length?

Whats the pinion angle now? Do you have the A-Arm spacer also? These are long arms or short? (I'm guessing short, but your sig says IRO LA's)

Not to be an ***, but if your pinion angle was "perfect" with your stock arms, why did you i) get adjustable rears and ii) make your adjustables an inch longer?

i got the adjustable rears because i'm going up to 6.5" of lift soon, and was planning on running it on short arm adjustables for a while, but then i got a deal on a set of rear longarms, so when they come in is when i'll go up to 6.5". and i made them an inch longer because i wanted to get my tire away from the inside of my fender, but i didnt take into consideration the bad pinion angle that would cause

i'm going to make them just as long as the stock ones, and then see if the clunking goes away tomorrow

if you don't have adj. uppers... your pinion angle won't be happy although normally the lowers just move the axle back and forth but it also has an effect on pinion angle due to that

There are no uppers on a WJ =P Just the A-arm, which you get a spacer to adjust.

^^^If you're selling the adjustable short arms when your long arms arrive, I'm interested.
