New CV Joint do wheels need to be aligned?

Drivers side CV joint is being replaced. Will I need to have the wheels aligned? The vehicle is a 2000 GC.

Thanks. I was going to have him check the passenger side. Since the drivers axel has to come off would you just replace with a refurbished axel or just replace the cs joint and a new boot? The labor would probably be cheaper to just replace with a refurbished drive axel.

replace the outer axle.. cheaper with labor.

and id reccomend changing both sides if possible at same time.
could try replacing yourself if you have some tools and some wrenching knowledge u could save some money
