I was not going to post in this thread because the stupidity of it. This is a good website with tons of valuable info. For the most part everybody plays nice, but there comes a time when it just gets out of control with the stupid posts. There was just one the other day, about a WJ Lift. I responded with SEARCH, as it has been discussed a million times. The person got bent out of shape, but then other members started responding to the post with info. If this keeps happening the stupidity will continue. Like I said, everybody plays nice here for the most part, If you want some real answers to all your questions, head on over to Pirate, or Mallcrawlin and see what kind of responses you get to your questions. Rant Off.

And to the person that created this thread, I think your gauge pod looks horrible, and that is my Honest opinion. Did you happen to pull that out of a Mustang......LOL

I'm with Gator, Nash and deff Buc on this one. Use the search and stop feeding the animals. Its the internet, grow some tough skin and learn to take things as they are. If you post something on this website, someone will definitely have something to say about it. Now like Buc said, go over to Pirate4x4 or Mallcrawlin and post this exactly same thread and see what happens.

Hey Fletch, you should really calm down. I've been told very similar stuff as I have gone along and have taken everyone's advice and constructive criticism and made my ride better. I caught all kinds of crap for my CB mount, my tow hooks, and all kinds of other silly stuff. It just seems that you have taken it the wrong way. I have been told that I was an idiot and that I was a danger to myself and others, and I looked at eh situation objectively, did more research and made my final decision after that. Bottom line is this: don't nip at people on here and they won't nip at you and if you have a tranny temp gauge, then let me have it - i really want one, and autometer gauges are expensive!

I don't think it looks bad, but I would personally make the pods more rounded, individual pods (and only go 1 high). Maybe 2 on the pillar, 1 left of the dash lump, 1 to the right or something like that.

BTW, if you like it, fletch, then who cares what anyone else thinks. If you don't like it, then that's another story.

may i suggest www.jeepsunlimited.com

if you cant handle our opinions and constructive critisism than leaving would be a good thing. everyone was really just stating the obvious. the blocky thing up there looks funky and most of the gauges are pointless because you already have them on your dash. really though, think about it, what did you expect us to say?

yep....I need to re do it though....my air fuel guage isn't good enough..I need a wideband style...as is all I have now is a nice light show and it became annoying...so I disconnected it. I will really need it when I gat the stroker motor done.

hey....your pickin on me Fraser and I may get offended....someone did dump mud all on my engine and entire Jeep for that matter. After $20 at the car wash (pressure washer) and a clay bar I almost have it up to my standards...

definitely poor placement and selection. egt is useless on anything that isn't running a turbo, all other gauges are redundant(at least the mech oil press is kinda useful for verifying the sending unit on the regular one is ok)

if you're having a friend make stuff for you, why not have him make the a-pillar pod or a center console pod, that looks to be quite in the way.

sometimes free stuff should just be sold instead of used.
