New AutoMeter Gauges installed (Pics)

Here are a few pics of the custom box my friend made up for me. I installed the guages and ran everything. Everything works great!

you should have done air/fuel ratio instead on doin volts wjs already have volt gauges... and the other could have been trans temp or something cause you already have water and oil pressure... man... is there a reason why you repeated gauges

you tell me where a port is on my tranny that i don't have to drill and tap out and ill be glad to. I have a tranny temp guage as well. And my reason for having these gauges is because they were free!......................they came out of my last vehical, and there is nothing wrong with them, so yes, i used them because i was not spending the money when i had gauges. period

wow! getting all fired up i see!
calm down bro...

anyways there is no port in the tranny you need to modify and make it work probably about an hour worth of work plus running the wires and stuff so close to 2 hours....

so you would rather have your rig pure cosmetics or would you rather put something into it with a purpose?
i would think you would want something with purpose... but to each his own...

Uh, neat. I guess. But honestly... a blockish gloss-black tetris piece on the top of the dash REALLY looks out of place.

Should've gone with a gauge cluster on the A pillar.

Don't WJ's have a Volt, Water Temp, and Oil Pressure gauge already? The Pyrometer is a good idea, an Air/Fuel ratio would have been good, as well as a Transmission temp. A hookup for the tranny temp could be off of the stock cooler if they had one.

Its an interesting place to put the gauges though, gives me a few ideas.

you should finish it off with a wing on the rear roof

I see that you are getting alot of negative thoughts on this instal and style guages so I won't beat a record and say the same thing. I personally like the a pillar idea and also getting some guages to ther things that you could use and not need...regardless of it was free and they work theory. You have to accept the bad when asking for peoples opinions.

Did you have to drill holes or cut anything? I see what looks like the wiring coming up from around the windshield. I'm not a big fan of the looks. Maybe if it was just the bottom 3 gauges it'd look a little better...
