neutral park plug

I've got a 97 grand with a 42RE trans. what is the correct orientation of the neutral park plug? It can go on two different ways. Or does it not matter? thanks

If it doesn't have a motor or tits I'm not interested!

Don't know about the plug thing, but love the signature

96 ZJ Laredo, 4.0, 242, 230K
95 ZJ Limited, 4.0, 242, 140K
98 XJ Sport, 4.0, 231, 140K
