need Tcase help!!! (PICs)

hello all, can someone assist me in identifying what Tcase i have, my ZJ is a 98 with the 5.2, specifically, is it the early type or later type? from the hours of research i have done, i thought my tcase should be the external output, not internal, does my 98 ZJ actually have the early internal type? thanks for any info you may have on this, my VC in my case is done, so i am looking for a replacement. thanks.

You have the late style 249. All 249s were internal slip yoke due to the viscous coupler on there.
