Need to replace right side parking brake cable

The rear e-brake cables on my WJ are attached to the brake dust covers whereas the ZJ's cables are connected directly to the actuators. Does anyone know how to separate the cables from the covers? Please help!
Thanks

I figured it out! FYI - The cable end was rusted in place. Used vice grips and penetrating fluid and pulled the cable straight out of the back of the dust shield. Installed the new cable and now works like a charm.
