Need new engine for my ZJ

Does anybody have any recommendations on where I can get a good deal on a good re-built engine (5.2) for my 98 ZJ near Ohio?

I bought a remanufactured 5.2 off ebay from Tidewater Machine Company in Virginia. The engine is excellent. They are decent people to work with. There is no core charge. The engine cost 1799.00. It is a long block. They have another 5.2l for sale right now. The shipping was $100.00 extra for delivery right to your front door. The fed ex driver pulled the engine on a skid right into my garage.

you can try craigslist, you can get a cheap used one. Can be kinda sketchy, just inspect the entire engine and you could walk away with a steal.

I looked at Tidewater's auction and they do appear to be a possibility. They definitely had a lot of positive feedback.

I looked locally on Craigslist before and didn't find anything, but I will try a wider area.

Wrecked running ZJ's sell for $500-800 on Craigslist a lot. Just an idea.

I picked my 5.9 up complete out of a ZJ for $400 off CL. Couple thousand $ later... and it still isn't in the Jeep yet!!! lol
