NEED HELP the middle of SYE install

almost done installing tom woods SYE on my 242...

when i started off i put the tranny and TC in Neutral like TW instructions say..when i disassembled the TC the tail shaft was movable, so i took out everything and installed the new tailshaft put the rear case back on the new speedo case back on and i went to move the tailshaft and its locked as if the jeep is in gear or something...

i need help before i go and fill up with ATF and drive home was it possible something got shifted into gear?
