Need 16" rims

I'm looking to do a 3" lift and go with 30" tires on my '98 Laredo. However, I currently have 15" stock rims. Not looking for anything fancy, just nice 16" brushed finished aluminum rims.

If you go up to a 16" wheel you're going to have to look at metric tires instead of flotation. Not sure why, but there are close to no 3Xx12.5x16 (etc.) tires out there. Almost all of them are 265/75r16. Not like it matters. I'm running 235/85r16s on my Ram. You'll probably want something like a 245/75r16 (30.5" diameter, 9.5" width)

As for wheels? don't ask me. I went for white steelies.

thanx horatio,

I gave the 30" just as an idea of what I am doing, the tires i want aren't anything special but I believe are 265/75r16. They are uniroyal laredos. Only about $105 each. I appreciate the help though. Keep me posted if you hear anything.

265/75 is almost a 32" tire. It's actually within a 1/10" of my 235/85 height-wise.

31.6x10.5"

For wheels I'd check out Discount Tire, Les Schwab, Tire Rack, and the rest of the tire stores, as well as some of the 4x4 websites. Somebody was advertising a buy 3 get 1 free set of Procomps w/wheels. Don't remember which store though.

Thanx horatio,
I have looked at discount tire and they are more than likely who I will be going with. But I will check out the others!
