That is why we are assuming it's a locker.

the Firestone switch is for the air bags, i have checked by raising my back end when i got the jeep

_____
as to the locker, i will do that test this weekend...
1. so when would i use this thing?
2. and would it be bad if i hit the switch to the ON position while, lets say, drving fast on the freeway?

_____
sorry i don't know how to un-intall these to ship to you...

_____
the guy that owened this jeep was a mechanic and from what i hear from his friends he was nuts about it, he worked on it himself and kept it in very good shape...

thats what the firestone gauge pod is for. I think the switch is a locker. or maybe an aftermarket switch for the fogs? dunno.

yes, got it a month ago
i wanted to do the oil change and check the rear fluid today, before i go off to Dove Springs OHV area tomorrow, but the mechanic was booked solid...
will get it done next week, and probably will just go to the dealership (any ideas of what i'm looking at as $$ is concerned for oil and rear fluid?)

Oil change around $30. And the rear Diff. fluid change around $100 was what a shop told me.
