My New Tire Carrier

Ok so I used to have a hitch mounted fold down tire carrier and it was beginning to be more of a pain folding it up and down so I scrapped the idea and redesigned it.
I Had recently bought a welder and wanted to build something with it and test my fabrication skills.
My redesigned tire carrier takes place of the stock rear bumper while still utilizing the stock bumper cover. All it is, is a rear "bumper " with a hinge and latch brackets that is then covered by the stock bumper cover. I have seen a few Zj guys with this set up ad a couple Wj guys do it as well and figured I'd give it a shot.
Il let the pictures do the talking and if there are any questions ask away.
Hope you guys like it.

Il do my best to make a write up on it. I don't have to many pics on it cause i get carried away while working lol. But il take the bumper cover off and take a lot of pics when I get a chance.

Hey that looks awesome! I'm gonna have access to a welder like for one time in a few weeks, I think I may try and build this. A full write up would be AWESOME! Like materials used as well as maybe pics of how exactly the brackets are mounted to the bumper, it's kinda hard to see in that one pic.

Congrats on building such an awesome carrier!
