You said there is a 5.9 there? Look to see if it still has the metal ac lines the go across the top of the motor. The line with two switches is not made anymore and almost impossible to find. I would grab that for re sale as well along with the efan, relays, and switches. I wish I could find a 5.9 in the yard.

Sorry, what I meant to say was I went looking for a 5.9 and found the 5.2 with the lift instead. Didn't mean to get your hopes up haha. I may check the other yard in town for a 5.9 though and look for all that. Thanks for the heads up

Got the springs today but didn't have time to grab anything else. And that jeep does have adjustable track bars. I'll go back soon to grab the rest.

Any idea how much lift these springs might be?

The rear springs were just the stock front springs.

Front to rear is usually quoted at 3.5 so they are probably 3.5 fronts.

Cool beans, that works for me. Only $26 too. Thanks guys!

I'll be going back hopefully Monday to get those control arms and track bars.

Other local junk yard has all these, fingers crossed that one is a 5.9

I would like to get into the drift scene haha. I've got a friend that does it and I may try at an event once the car is ready. It's my 2nd 240. First one was a piece... This is the new one. Nothing too special but it's a work in progress. Btw, I didn't put the side skirts on. Previous owner did and I hate them.

Thanks guys! I'm loving the 240 so far. Snapped this pic of the jeep today though.

After I get a little more done on the 240 I'll finally put those higher springs on my heep.

Wow. It's been a long time since I've been on here. If you saw the 240 that I had, it recently sold for $6,600. Pretty happy about that.

Now I can get back to jeep things.

Since last time I've logged in I destroyed those 32" inch tires by not getting an alignment, replaced the tps, put a new headliner in, slung my transfer case chain completely off the gear, lost half my front end in a river, and knocked my passenger side window slider things(?) off so the window is held up by a block of wood now. Oh and I have an LED bar now too!

Haha I suppose I should spend some time fixing all this.

Bought a Borg Warner tcase chain but have just been waiting til I have the time to put it in. Replaced the damaged things from the river accident with junkyard parts... Once that's done I'll be dropping a new radiator in.

Now for where it gets expensive. I'm wanting 33" bfg's since they're getting fairly cheap now and I'm tired of having super knobby mud tires. Since I'm a college kid on a budget, what is ABSOLUTELY necessary for me to run these? I believe I'll be able the clear them in the front but I'm guessing I'll need uca's and lca's in the back.
