Speedbucket, You live in Virginia. I will gladly come to your house show you my setup and then drag your peice of **** all across your yard without bending one thing on my Jeep. Just to shut you the **** up.
Its like talking to a wall with you people. I know i will never convince you of my setup until it gets ripped off when someone pulls me out of mud going 60mph and i know that is what you idiots want me to do. I did get in Mud this past weekend but it wasn't needed to winch me. I was not going to waste anyone time trying to get winched out for the sake of you idiots pleasure.

How old are you? You come on a forum ask what everyone thinks. You get feed back from guys that are very talented, now your mad waving your E-weaner all over the place. Fix it or not its up to you but really no need to be preteen about it.

I think after all the bashing that he deserves a congratulations. His contraption works and a group of his peers has approved.

I'm sure you've heard this saying before: Your religion is like your dick: its fine to have one, but don't whip it out in public and force it down people's throats. You "whipped" your recovery points out and posted it on the internet. Now we tell you we don't like it and we won't accept it, and you tell everyone to go **** themselves because they don't like it. You can't force us to like it, we hold our opinions for a reason. Don't get all butt-hurt because we don't like it. You like it, and that should be all that matters, so why the **** do you care so much what we think? Stop trying to gain our approval, because it's not going to happen.

No. He would rather have it wrong, not listen to any advise from the people who k ow why they are talking about, then post on other threads like he is the new god that figured out what no engineers or back yard wheelers have figured out in 15 years. Actually buddy, they figured it out and realized you don't build a hitch for only certain pulls, like pulling out an atv, and also that you don't build it out of flat iron unless you want to pull a 4x8 single axle trailer down the highway with a Buick park avenue.
What you forget is you will sell that pos to some high school kid because it is a $1000 4x4 maybe, that kid is gonna try it out not knowing the guy who built it had an ego from hell And couldn't listen to reason, resulting in someone being hurt. Or better yet your son years down the road goes to pull someone out, because his dad told him how awesome this hitch is, and he hurts someone. You don't build armored cars to withstand bb guns because the current persons enemies Inly have bb guns, you build an armored car, not a frickin Barbie jeep thinking oh it will hold as long as I don't really need it. Besides you won't be the one hurt by it, the people helping you will.
Stop advertising your pos as gods gift to zj owners, pick up your purse, and do it right.

Its the attitude that was given to me that makes me a little mad about it. You sit in my seat and read all the posts and then tell me you wouldn't be slightly mad about it.
I have taken some of the advice from the people that have given it but most were you need to remove it and go buy the factory tow hooks(which I wouldn't hook up to as I have seen what happens when those give out which isn't much) or you will kill someone. Those are the ignorant asses that have pissed me off and caused me you defend my work. I have shown them a video of me on the trail getting winched and that wasn't enough. I can not please stupid and close minded people.
Its just not possible but I'm not responding to anymore of your idiot and stupid comments as I don't want to be banned. The people that have given me positive criticism, I thank you and have taken your advice with all the highest regard. The idiots that only seem like they want the world to burn. The next guy that wants to make something out of the box. Be a little nicer to him and give him positive criticism instead of "I would never hook up to that, your a ****ing moron". That is not criticism that is just a straight insult and only pisses people off. Thank you.

You couldve had more legit tow points for less time, less effort, and less money. Its not about your pride either. ****, its not even about YOUR safety. Its about everybody else on the trail's safety. There are plenty of people on the trail that DONT know what theyre looking at, and wouldnt think twice about hooking up to that contraption, and by letting them, and therefore putting them in danger, i feel that YOU are an ***.
