My folding ZJ spare tire mount project

So I bought this folding mount off a guy on craigslist for $70. He had it on a XJ. Well when I mounted it up the angle was wrong and looked kinda dorky... So with the help of my neighbor (Welding) we redesigned it... added a HiLift mount. I like it.

I think it looks good. Looks sturdy too. Although I'm not sure what you were going for with your license plate in the last pic.

The welds don't have to be pretty as long as they penetrate.

i dont like that it pretty much completely blocks your view out of the back window. i wouldve made it either lower or more to the drivers side

^ It doesn't, it's only a 30" tire and it is mounted low already. The angle of the pictures are deceiving.

That set up is sick! Just curious, is it pretty loud on/off road? If not how did you reduce vibration? Hi-Lift, liscense plate, everything is sweet. With a little grinding I'd pay decent $ for one of those. Nice job.
