My boots are torn

On my front axels, as some of you know.

Kolaks getting me the parts, I just need to take it to a place to get them in. I asked a mechanic at a shop while I was picking up my dads Astro van and he said 1 hour labor on each side. Is 2 hours of labor normal? Im replacing the whole axel by the way.

Sorry, I cant do this myself!

You are replacing the axle shafts. The whole axle would be everything knuckle to knuckle.

2hrs is a very reasonable shop charge. Generally takes about 30-45m to do.
