my 95 zj was rebuilt with a 97 head

hey folks, my 95 zj was rebuilt and the mechanic used a head from a 97. well now i have no place for temp sending unit to go... any ideas where i could put it in order for my temp gauge to work? i did buy a temp gauge but i have the same problem, where do i install it at? the one plug has to stay installed by the thermostat to send info to computer, correct?

the easiest thing to do is take the thermo housing off and add another hole for the second sensor. you'll need to extend the wires to reach though.

i also read where someone drilled and tapped the extra hole in the head, but IMO that needs to be done prior to installing the head.

I got an adapter and did that but it doesnt read correctly. Never gets above 110. I guess thats better than nothing tho. And it would tell me if its overheating.
