So today my Grand Cherokee got rear-ended pretty good as i sat in traffic on my way to work after a long weekend. Pass side rear door wont open, and both frame rails are pretty kinked in-front of where the hitch bolts on by the shock tower attachments. With these trucks being harder and harder to find, do you guys think its worth buying back from insurance to part out whats left? has 230,000 miles on it but was always maintained very well. Motor strong, trans rebuilt at 210,000. only thing it needed was a transfer case and rear end (surprise surprise), both were getting noisy. I'm still waiting on the appraiser to come Friday and check it out, but id be very surprised if it was not considered a total. So, other than stock parts, i just did EBC Pads and Rotors all the way around about 800 miles ago, and a killer sound system, its more or less a stock 5.9, just didnt know what a rear-ended totaled one was worth in parts in your guys opinions. Thanks!

Id take 150 for vents-complete with under trays & hardware (gonna give 1 other guy 1 more day to get back to me on the hood/vents), and $200 for grill. would do both for $325 shipped in lower 48. pics link below. Some paint lifted/chipped on vents but no cracks of any kind. Grill good shape. Has a very small chip that you can only see with hood open. (http://www.capandhitch.com/1998grandcherokeeparts/images/IMG_0324.JPG) The half moon shape is supposed to be there. the chip (at 8 o'clock in the pic)is very small, and that is a scratch, not a crack next to it. Can take more pics if you want.

Thanks!
