Dropping the pan is easy maintenance. Much like a differential. There's nice pic and instructions in your Haynes manual (I assume you have one right?) and there's a great write up on here for band adjustment as well. It's not that hard to figure out. Has good pics. I did mine just recently at 162000 and there was quite a bit of play in them. And then adjusting the TV cable (also simple). Totally improves shift points and prevents unnecessary future wear

Ya I thought it was about the best they put in the zjs(minus 46re) and they've used it forever so that stands for something... Just like the 318 it's paired to

Yeah these 46rhs are great! Mines doing just fine at 242k, It is tricky though, if you let it get low on fluid it lets you know!

I will do that. I'm so busy with work and working on it that it will mostly be a what I've done to it thread I do regret not taking many before pics of things but there will be plenty of after pics lol. Hopefully I'll get one started in July sometime. I'm just crazy busy until then

Yes they do but hey we're jeep owners, we check these things out regularly anyway lol

Well after I get her back on the road there's still plenty I'll do slowly that I can update over time but the initial post will be huge and I just don't have the time right now to get it all together. Lol. The pics are on my phone so organization isn't a concern. I'll hit you with the link when I get my stuff together lol

Third Prentice Cooper Trip

Went and did some wheeling at Prentice today.

Went out there with my buddy and hit up the trails. Funny thing happened while we were out there. Side story: I'd been trying to find a time to go trailing with this guy I know who owns a 72 Bronco. Well while my buddy and I were out on the trails in the am, we ran into the guy who just happened to be out there too!

Anyways here's some pics!

Taylors Jeep

My friends Bronco.

Favourite pic of the trip! Gotta love them open diffs

I have some video's I'll get up later.
