Here's the one I used, it fits just about perfect.

Pictures are deceptive. Your filter is quite smaller than mine. I am trying the same cowl setup that you have, except that my Amsoil filter is way larger, so I will have to massage the cowl out a bit. Thanks for the info!

Alright fella's, so I'm hoping for some input/advice. I know I'm going to lift my Jeep more, but I can't decide how much I should go. I would like to run 33"s with a 44 rear locked. I'm pretty sure I can get away with that on a 4.5 inch kit. But if i do the 4.5 kit the right way (getting all adjustable arms), I could spend a few hundred more and go long arms front and adjustable short rear. That would put me at 5ish inches.

Anybody want to talk to me about patience being a virtue so I can save up more $??

Oh well, maybe I'll just work on the silver Jeep with that jumping pig ^^ and keep saving.

If you're going to go long arms go long arms, no sense in lifting it twice.

Do it right though, IRO at the least, clayton or custom at best.

You could also do front LA and rear shorts until you have the dosh for full LA.

Even though it had 235k on it you're really lucky to have gotten that Jeep. I was given a 94 Cherokee with 40,000 miles on it when I was 16 years old, in MINT shape than I discovered the frame was pretty shot. I wish I got a ZJ when I was younger, but nope lol I got the XJ . Not bad, but not a ZJ!! How much have you put into it so far?

Can't beat a Jeep

X2. Everyone who went LA later down the road will admit it was a mistake and wish they did it right the first time. Just help your buddy spend his money and keep your mind of wasting yours.

Yeah man these jeeps are pretty nice! I do love the boxy look of an xj though! I think i've got somewhere over 2k in it, with the sound system and the bb/rim/tire combo.

Got my front windows tinted today!

They're at 35% (legal limit in TN) I wish they could be darker, still looks nice though!

The 46rh's are quite stout. I've seen them run well over 200-250,000...With proper maintenance obviously
