looks good man, now i know i can fit 35's at 4.5" but i plan on adding a 1.75" spacer on mine regardless just so i know i have the clearance.

Yeah, this biggest thing is you have to have all adjustable control arms, so that way you can move the axles far enough from the body to make them fit.

It's harder than you'd think actually, the local junkyards don't have any good front axles, (checked car-part as well), and no one is parting out locally. If I want one I'll have to drive down to atl to get one from pull a part. I'm not opposed to doing this, as that's what I did to get my 231, but it's just a lot of trouble and with me working 50 ish hours a week I just don't have the time to spare currently. So maybe over christmas break.

Alright so it's finally time for some measuring on this thing. I'm about to order some rear shocks and new bumpstops that are appropriate for these big *** tires.

(About to go to a loading ramp to do the front, can't get it flexed enough at home...)







Front shocks:
Extended: 28 +/- 1"
Collapsed: 19"
Bumpstops: 6"








Rear:
Extended: 29 1/2"
Collapsed: 19 1/4"
Bumpstops: 6" extension
Limiting straps: 23"

Sometimes I do forget how much taller than stock my zj actually is. This is my buddies ol' zj, mind you it's got a 2 inch bb (stock tires though)

Alright fella's another repair question, I'm trying to pull out my rear differential to fix my pinin bearings. This sucker is stuck in there like no other. Know any tricks to removing it?

Depending on whats stuck, take the impact to the pinion nut and it should come out. Then pull your axles and detroit out and the pinion will slide right out.

Well i've had a frustrating couple of days with this thing. On wednesday i got my rear end pulled apart to re-do my pinion bearings. Got the pinion out and attempted to pull the bearing off using a bearing splitter from HF, well that utterly failed and stopped the project dead. Went to work thursday, then today i took the pinion to a local shop that pulled the old bearing and put the new one on for $20. Got back home and put the pinion all back in with new bearings, crush sleeve, seal and nut. I go and torque the thing down, thinking it'll take all my strength to get it to 250ft/lbs. Well i acidentally torqued it too far! Damn thing had a rolling tension of over 60 in/lbs! : So I tore it all back apart, walked to autozone only to remember that no one sells the crush sleeve locally. Ordered a new one and now have to play the waiting game, no vehicle and i move to my new place tomorrow... (insert expletive)
