Mr. Hyde!   2004 WJ  | Sounds like a bad battery to me. Check the terminal connections and make sure they're very clean. I would check the battery, then the alternator. Take it to a shop like Checker/Autozone/Napa and they can test the battery and alternator for you for free. Registered User 2002 ZJ | I have a '02 and I am having the same problem. I had the battery checked out and it's ok... Nothing electrical works... I jump start it, nothing. But when I put a charger on it. I hear a lot of clicking noises and then the jeep starts... VERY WEIRD... Can this be the BCM? HELP!!!  |

Registered User | You have to CLEAN the battery terminals. Or replace them. They build up corrossion that you really CAN NOT SEE. |

Registered User 1998 XJ Cherokee | A little old lady once told me to soak the terminals in coke. not pepsi, not diet coke, regular good old coke. ive done this like 2 or 3 times now, and it just eats away enough corrosion for the Jeep to start. |
