Muffler and cat question....

Hey all, 98 ZJ Laredo 4.0L California Emissions, 145k on her. I noticed the seams on my muffler are getting rusty enough water is dripping out of them and its starting to get a little loud. The cat from what I know is original, along with the muffler. Does anyone recommend replacing them as a pair? It's my daily driver, so a normal muffler would do me just fine. Anyone with ideas and or recommendations on good brands??? Thanks!

As long as the your passing emissions, don't touch the cat. As for the muffler, since your not looking for anything special, just go to the parts counter and get what they have in stock.
