Max tire size on Bone Stock 03 WJ 4.0

I was looking at tires online and was wondering what the largest tire size i could put on the stock 16 inch rims without any rubbing. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks.

I have 245/70/16 on mine with no rubbing. Came on the Jeep when I bought it. I also believe that is the size some of the jeeps came with.

I like the size 245/70 16 because it is bigger than stock (for a laredo) and it does not rub.

245/75/16 will fit some minor rubbing on the front bumper cover. Some trimming can easily fix this.

I believe the 225 is stock but i have as others 245 on mine and it doesn't present any problems. The diff is only about .8" total. I have seen while searching on Google about some Jeeps Gran Cher's coming with 245's factory.

I think the WJ's that came stock with the 245/70R16's probably had the Up Country suspension. Am I right on this? If so, what would be the biggest tire I could shove under there with that suspension? Thanks

My 2000 grand cherokee limited came stock from the factory with 245/70/16. I believe that all limited recieved this option. I do not have an upcounty suspension.

It was an option and there is lots of room. Could probably even go with a larger tire.

at the bottom of this sheet it will show all of the tire sizes from the factory
