I've heard the story that '95 Orvises came with a free Orvis rod, but never seen one or heard of anyone that actually got one.

That "excursion" edition is aftermarket. It's like a conversion van. It wasn't done from the factory; it may have been sold new at the dealer like that, but it's not factory. And the tire carrier isn't factory either. It was a dealer installed option, not a factory installed option.

The Excursion was done by some now-defunct conversion company. Think Regency Van.

At least the Mopar tire carrier was built by Chrysler.

Factory or not, I would imagine there are not many of them around.

If anyone would have that info, it'd be you. Thanks.

Last year at the u-pick JY there was a '93 red interior, manual window & lock, steel wheeled 5 speed that I took both axles from.
If I'd have been smart I'd have bought the drive train for the wife's '94, but I let it slip out of my hands...

I had heard that all early '93 models were I6 powered, and that V8s were an afterthought and only came in models built in the last half of the model year.
Is that true?

My '93 Laredo has a V8, 11/92 build date, and power cloth seats. Not ultra rare, but cool nonetheless.

My next ZJ is gonna be a 5 speed.... Even If I have to turn it into one myself

Does anyone else have 4 seat belt latches(what you buckle the belt into) in the back seat?

My '93 has 3 belts and 4 latches and my wife's '94 has 3 belts and 3 latches.
