low beams wont work

My high beam headlights work fine, but when i got to switch them off and use low beams my headlights just shut off. the low beams work sometimes but they dont work more often than they do. any suggestions?

Likely a bad dimmer function in the multi-function switch on the column.

Check for +12v out on Pin#18 VT/OR wire.

Multi-function Switch is mounted to steering column...




You can also check for LO-beam +12v at this connector under the dash.
(Easier to access than the multi-function switch)




Unless there is a damaged wire somewhere, problem likely is in Multi-function Switch.
Need to replace, grab one from a JY or parts stores. Quadratec sells new for $57.

First step... Change out the Lightbulbs. As I understand, the Low and High beams are on different filaments in the same bulb.
