I got the 2 snap rings off. I cannot get the lock ring off. Does it need to be removed? I don't know how it's preventing me from sliding off the pump.

tranfer case

so would i get a vibration from 57 to 77 mph with a loose chain? i just had the transmission replaced and now it vibrates at 57 and all the way to 77 but after 77mph it goes down a bit not all the way but alot! also when shifting in lower gears 1st 2nd it makes a high pitch whining noise plz help i love my jeep and am trying to restore it
