looking for in-channel window visors

im in the market for some, i hate being in a car with the windows up, even if its freezing cold or raining. seems like in the rain however, the wipers always throw water into the jeep, and you can only crack the windows about a half an inch. do in-channel visors help this? now the thing is i noticed that the avs ones dont go down where the side view mirror is. they stop once it gets to the mirror, now the other ones, such as the egr ones go all the way down. who has what style and how does it work? what styles better?

avs -

egr -

also, does water getting in and on the switches and stuff actually hurt anything, or is jeep just good and have it all waterproffed?

also, on my passenger window, the rubber trim inside the window, where it rolls up into it, its shoved up in there, so you can see it from the outside but theres about a 6 inch strip where its in the window frame. this going to affect anything?

IMO, they are the best. Have them on my '01, my wife's '04, and had them on a formerly owned '03 KJ.

I have the AVS style and it seems like the water problem got worse. the water will now build up on the plastic piece and when i start driving the water pools into my jeep. Doesn't serve a real purpose but looks good IMO.

X2 on these. I have them on my ZJ and they are great. No water comes in at all with the window open about an inch (sitting or driving). Easy install and removal if need be.
