Look what just showed up

blue torch fab, 8.8 diff cover, 3/8" ring, 1/4" plate, super beefy. I highly reccomend these guys, they're good to deal with.

Where is the fill plug? Or do 8.8's have the fill plug on the actual diff, not the cover?

Looks beefy Did you have to upgrade because the 8.8 is so weak? My D35 is so much more superior then your 8.8

dang, and to think of all the time and money i wasted on brackets, fabwork, gears, locker, brakes, diff cover, alloys, etc. on this 8.8.

D35 > 8.8!!!

Yes that is me. I enjoy the pictures. That cover looks great. I was surprised to find that the covers were so crappy while looking for 8.8's. I'll definately have to keep BTF in mind when I finally ge the time, money, and axle.

From the first pics there appears to be a breather on the left top side of the axle tube, instead of the diff housing? Unlike mine which uses the rubber drain/fill bung.

Cheers Steve

It is a ford 8.8 rear-end. They come like that on the tubes instead of diff housing for some reason.

So then when you fill the diff the axle tubs half fill up as well? And then the oil seal must be at the out bound end of the shaft?
