Location of front transmission band adjustment on a 4.0L 99 GC
Ladies and Gents,
I am performing transmission service on my 99 Grand Cherokee 4.0L, which has a 42RE transmission as far as I can tell, and cannot find the adjustment bolt for the front transmission band. The rear one was a piece of cake but I simply cannot locate the bolt for the front. I am using a 2001 FSM for reference for the same transmission but still no luck. If you have any suggestions, pictures, or illustrations that might be helpful then I would be very grateful. Thanks for reading!
